Yoga is a huge part of my life, only after I experienced the benefits of a regular practice first hand I realised I had to become a certified yoga teacher. I studied Zen Yoga which has its roots in Buddhism. It is an amazing practice utilising traditional yoga posture with the zen approach. Zen Yoga is about grounding, being in the present moment and using the bodies energy system to be the best version of ourselves. Zen Yoga has a strong emphasis on being in the present moment, it’s not about how deep you go into the posture or how flexible you are, it’s about alligning the body in a mindful way to allow energy to flourish .
